Colleen gained valuable experience in the music video industry through her work with Raul from Ra Visuals. Raul invited her to participate in a music video shoot with her fellow film club members, and later to a workshop about filmmaking with Double-scope, where she made professional connections and friends with shared interests. Through Raul's guidance, Colleen learned that making music videos is distinct from creating short films and is more enjoyable. Her collaboration with Raul and her involvement in the workshop facilitated her growth and knowledge of the music video industry.
Colleen recognizes the immense value of working alongside experienced professionals in the music video industry, and is eager to continue collaborating with Raul and his team. She hopes to gain further insight into their creative process and expand her skills through their guidance. Harmony Science Academy was Colleens middle school, high school, and where she had the opportunity to serve as an intern. She began making videos for them her sophomore year as one of their students. Upon graduation they noticed her ability to create short videos and great photos which lead to managing their social media outlets. She managed their Facebook and started their YouTube and Instagram pages from 2016-2017. Doing these tasks alone and with her own equipment she was able to time manage everything accordingly with events, meetings, and due dates.

Think Outside The Box
T.O.T.B. is a STEM based summer camp offered by Harmony Science Academy. The company is by H.S.A. El Paso alumni. Colleen worked at the summer camps which meant traveling out of town sometimes. They would also have seniors attending the high school help with STEM based lessons. Colleen would photograph to get the best shots at the right angles. She also had to create videos to showcase the whole summer camp experience through the students, instructors, and parents eyes.
GANDARA BRO.
Lasting Impact
Gandara Bro. is ran by twin brothers Sam and Josh Gandara. Colleen met them through helping T.O.T.B. where they became her manager, her teachers, and friends in the film world. Colleen helped with two of their projects. Gaining the experience in a small production crew.
ROBERT TIBUNI VABOOM BAZAAR STUDIOS
Bazaar Modeling Agency
Vaboom studio was Colleen's first un-paid film production internship. She started with shadowing the director which was Robert Tibuni. First showing her the art of reflection in her first photoshoot. Second photoshoot was a street shoot. Where Colleen Assisted the director on ideas for the models positions as well as locations. Learning to help in professional photography Robert decided to have Colleen be videographer for a behind the scenes photoshoot. Lastly becoming a second camera assistant on a short film Robert put together.

These are a few projects Colleen has been part of with the production crew helping as a behind the scenes camera woman or photographer. She was even a collaborator helping with different ideas.
A Bored Film Studio short-On The Line
As part of a POV short film national competition, Colleen was taught about AC work while the camera is being operated on its own and how this worked for some popular movies nowadays. She mostly assisted on set and was a backup actress with the crew and observed how everything was handled and learned from the studio.

As part of their nonverbal short film series, Colleen was taught on this set about camera work and being the first and second AC. She was overall the PA.

THE GANDARA BRO.S SHORT FILM.
This is the short film project I helped my two friends Sam Gandara and Josh Gandara. I was there BTS Photographer and Producer Assistant. It was very professional and a great experience I will never forget. They are great workers and hope to do more with them!
THE T.O.T.B EDU COMMERCIAL
For this project the media team for Think Outside The Box met up to discusses an idea for a commercial. The commercial had to be suitable for the local movie theaters. Knowing the video could only be 15 seconds. Once discussing how much we had to show we were over whelmed. Until Colleen shared a solution with the team and different ways to improve that solution. Once we had a main idea it became easy. Colleen helped with the shot list and created the script.
On the day of the shoot Colleen was a assigned as the 2nd Assistant Camera. She also kept a lookout for any mistakes that the director should be aware of; furthermore, Colleen also took behind the scene photos.
